Happy birthday Niksham!

Today was Niksham's 7th birthday, and his Mum brought in a yummy birthday cake, drinks, popcorn, and some lollies for Niksham to share with C6. The class were super lucky and they used their beautiful manners to thank Niksham and his Mum.

Te Puia

• We are learning to understand and describe the cultural importance of Matariki

On Thursday 22nd June, Pukeroa team visited Te Puia. We had a fantastic day learning about Matariki, and we got to go for a hikoi to see Pohutu geyser, bubbling mud pools, the kiwi house, a pa site, wood carving & flax weaving. We were also lucky to get a free sausage!
Thank you to our wonderful parent helpers, without your support we would have not been able to go.

Today at our school assembly, we celebrated our principal award winner Ashtyn, along with our cross country first place winners: Georgia (race 1 year 2 girls) Lotti (race 2 year 2 girls) & Egypt (Pukeroa year 3 boys).
